I feel sort of silly asking this, but on my heli, I have a little clip I use to cut fuel to the carb when filling up the tank using a T filter. The cowling on the Funtana makes it hard to get at the fuel lines. What's the usual procedure? Does just closing the carb all the way before fueling keep the engine from flooding? Fuel in the muffler change the tuning of the engine any? Thanks! |

I made my own fuel dot. You need a 3 line system for the tank. The third line will be used as the fueling line. Make a hole in the cowl the width of the fuel line. String the tubing through the hole. Grab a small machine screw and washer. But the washer through the screw and the put the screw through the tubing. Then just slide the tubing till the washer touches the cowl. I won't fall through because of the washer. When you want to fuel, just pull out the line, take off the screw/washer and then fuel. Hope this helps!

Just get a fuel dot. Any brand will do. Just drill a hole in the cowl and install it. Then put a third line on the fuel tank. You can even put a clunk on it if you want to aid in refueling (otherwise you will have to stand it on its nose) Thsi is what I do on my Funtana 90 and it works great. Here is an example of a fuel dot. http://www.pspmfg.com/FuelDotsRegular.html http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...?ProdID=HAN115 |
