I usually look at the nose and wing tips. This gives me a better definition of the plane when it starts to fall off.

The center of the plane - the canopy or so. That way I can see the rest of it in my periforal vision & also see where the plane is drifting.

Same. I like to focus on the center; focusing on a wingtip just doesn't work for me.

For me I look at the nose and wings when the canopy faces me, in torque rolls or when the belly is facing me, I look at the tail and the wings. go figure.

You're supposed to watch the plane when you hover it? Well go figure... that explains a lot! (picks up crumpled ball of balsa and heads home).... :-) |

Definitely the canopy area and landing gear area when the plane is torquing.
