SW Pilots

Hope all of you had a good time this year. The Southwest Point Series has been updated to show the current standing. Currently this year we had 197 pilots compete in our SW Championships in 16 Contests. We had in Basic just over 70 pilots this year. Not bad, this in it self shows that our sport in our Region is growing and on the up swing. The SW Regionals in Las Vegas is going to be a fun experience for those that attend. The LVRC is one of the best clubs to have this size of an event. They always make sure everything runs smooth and efficiently.

Currently there are 49 pilots that are pre-register to attend the SW Regional Championships. The Regioanal Championships carry a 1.5 multiplier. If you plan to go make sure to register ASAP. This event will be a Biggy and we need to make sure the LVRC knows what to expect.

I hope to announce with some of the other CD's some proposed dates for the 2008 season at this contest.

Not sure I can fly in it yet.......as I have plans on Sunday with the family.

I'll be there Saturday though to help out at the least.

Our plan is to roll in sometime thursday night and head out to the field all day friday to practice so we'll see you there! Do you think you'll have your new 260 done in time?

That depends on you guys, did it ship today? Did the container even get to Colorado yet? I have all the needed parts and my wife will be out of town for two days next week, which means the dinning room table is all mine. So it is possible....

The container should be here tomorrow or thursday. For some reason I thought we had 260's in stock and were waiting on Yaks but I had it backwards. Sorry for the confusion.

Great, I should have the plane sometime next week. I'm ready to go on this end! I have a 3D event the first weekend of November I want to fly it in.
