Hi all I'm in the AF and I recently PCSed from FL and will be here for 1 year and man do I miss flying my 35% Yak..... I've been intrested in turbines for quite some time and thought that since I was on this side of the world that maybe I could pick something up here for a good price..... Question: does anyone know if there are distributors of jet parts or fixed winged acft near Osan AB Korea. I would greatly appreciate any info.... Thanks Shawn |

| Shawn, I've been to Korea and stayed in Suwon for 2 weeks. It's just north of Osan. I emailed a co-worker who lives there about your post and this is what he sent me: The most famous, cheapest and closest shop from OSAN is "YONGSAN" Electronics shops in Seoul. The wedsite : http://www.buyrc.co.kr/product_html/product_view.asp. Also you can search website (RC Shop) from "www.yahoo.co.kr" and order by internet. I checked the website and there is a map, but you might need to run it by a native Korean to figure out how to get there. Driving and taking the train in Korea isn't a problem, carry money to pay the tolls. Just do your trip up to Seoul before it gets to cold! Ken |

Shawn, I appreciate your service. I spent a year in Pyongtaek (Humphries). Had a blast. There is an electronics mega mall in Seoul. I cant remember what it is called. If you ask any of your computer buddies that have been there a few months, they will know. I found a few stores in the mall that carry R/C stuff. If all else fails, PM me and I'll ship for you!
