The FlyingGiants Week of The Shootout is about to kick off!

The biggest worldwide competition of the year is about to kick off on Monday, and the FlyingGiants Staff will be bringing ALL the action back to you on FlyingGiants.com! IT'S ON BABY!!

Starting this weekend, The FG Staff, some of whom are TAS competitors themselves, will be bringing back the pre-event's goings on in form of our one-of-a-kind event coverage. We'll have daily photo floods, write ups and scores in real time. Starting on Thursday when the action heats up, we'll also be providing HIGH QUALITY event video that you've come to expect from FG, including the event finals, and all of the freestyle sequences throughout next weekend!

FlyingGiants Tucson Shootout coverage will knock your socks off, again!

We take our coverage very close to heart, and while it's a boat load of work to bring the best of the Shootout back to our members, it's a passion that we truly enjoy! And don't forget folks, it's always been, and always will be completely free of charge to our members.

On behalf of our 7 Staff members in attendance, and our 3 Staff members directly competing in the contest, we look forward to all of the events of the coming week!

Max and crew: Thanks for your continued coverage and support of the Shootout!
Lot's of Giants are here already. The Arnold Express dropped off planes at DA this morning. Teams from the UK, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada have already arrived and are practicing here and in Phoenix. Adam Bry is un-crating his plane now and should be flying this afternoon.
Temps are still warm/hot. Should cool a bit over the next few days.

Those of you coming to the Shootout: Off and on ramps on I-10 between Prince Rd. on the north and 29th St. on the south are closed due to construction. In otherwords, no getting on or off the freeway through the main part of Tucson.
The frontage road between Prince and 29th is a good option for those navigating into central Tucson. 3 lanes wide each direction and with full access to all major cross streets.
The good news is the Ina Rd. and Cortaro Rd. on/off ramps, where most of you have booked hotels, are open.

Danno- he's been un wasnt gonna go'd. There will be 7 members of our Staff present at the TAS, make sure you all come and say hi folks!

Too many times over the past 4 year's we've heard stuff like "we saw you from the stands, but didn't want to bother you". If you're spectating, and that's the case, scream our freakin' names!! We would love to meetcha!

Hey excelpoint. I think Max and the boys just shot out to the local electronics shops and got one of those super loud bull horns. Apparently they are looking for a way to bleep out the Aussie expletives and figured one of those tiny little cell phone bleepers wont block out Mick if he lets slip in his native Strine mate.
