Kicking off the FlyingGiants week at The Shootout, we have our first of maaaaany reports coming in from the flightline at TIMPA! As our Staff continues to arrive onsite, we have a HUGE surprise coming for our members and friends worldwide that you're gonna love! Be sure to tune into FlyingGiants.com starting Tuesday evening at 6pm PST, and make sure to have your favorite beverage in hand! We'll letcha know more tomorrow...Thanks again to all of our Staff and Crew for all of the upcoming coverage from TIMPA. Take it away Mikey! ~~~~~~~~~ Hey Crew, Just got back from a 13 hour venture at TIMPA... I was the first one there and almost the last to leave today. Got in 6 really good flights. TONS of people have started showing up. Zak West, Eric Powell, Jason Noll, John Glezellis, Ken McGuire, Kurt Koelling and many many more. Guys, it's only Sunday and there had to be over 20 pilots lined up flying today... I was too busy to grab lots of pics, but only until the end of the day was I able to grab a few shots. Seth has some more to post, so hopefully he'll get those up for us. There's some really really good flying here, guys. No one is flying badly. It all looks really competitive, but frankly, we couldn't be having any more fun. I heard lots of laughing today and lots of help going on between all people. From holding airplanes and spotting, to tips and coaching. Awesome pre-event so far, and IT HASN'T EVEN BEGUN YET!!! Mike Bargman FlyingGiants Staff

Wind was under 15mph all day. About 95 degrees. Actually quite pleasant. I flew at about 6:20am and it was gorgeous. I flew while the sun rose over the mountains here...AWESOME!
