Hi well i jsut crashed a kit plane i have a few questions, 9 channel pcm jr ds821 elevator servo The servo died, it just would not reply in a turn to approch it came back online (now im wondering that the h*ll is going on ) as i do my approch i loose it again and the plane goes in, The rx never went into failsafe. What cause cause one channel to die and not the rest i had controle of the ail and trotal alol the way down... After recovery servo works again what could cause this? Steven |

Il check the connector the goes to the Rx, i know it was in tight but mabe one of the wires was backing out... i dont know there were no extensions used though. Steven |

yep i would check the extention if you had one pluged into the rudder. there is one manufacture out there that i will never again use thier extentions because they allways back out where they plug into the receiver. i cant mention there name but i will be happy to pm you to see if in fact that is the manufacture you are using. but maby that is not the problem, just speculation on my part.

You must do a run down. Did the servo lead back out or become disconnected anywhere? Was the lead left to move freely in the airframe, or was it secure. Did the lead rub something that could have shorted it out? Did the servo bind or possibly strip a gear? (Ie. did the servo have the proper torque for th job?) Run all that down and more. You will find the answer.

| I think i found it coplete battery conncetion i didnt ntoice because the time of loss to impact was very short and to tell you the truth everythign was goign great except that i was diving ![]() i hade a fuel leak and my battery got soaked and one of the connectors also got soaked so i suspect the it cause less the perfict connection. |
