If I understand correctly you want to fly a Composite ARF w/smoke indoors. Let me know where & when because I really need to see this. I don't even think Snapasaurus could top that one .

I just got my Super Xtra going and went with the Power Box smoke pump and it works great you don`t need a separate battery and its the most com pack smoke pump.

How does this work with rx batteries? Do you just plug into the rx? Is the flow rate programmable? I had the slimline showtime set up and it locked up on the first flight. I'm in the market for a new one and no extra batteries sounds damn good. I like the idea.

OK. Nevermind I looked it up. Sounds like it works in the same way, only doesn't need the extra battery and it cost $195. That's kinda steep but if it lasts and saves the added weight I'm game. Anyone else using this thing? If so, how long has it lasted? I think I might have to get one.

Its very easy to use it comes with 2 leads one for signal and the other just goes in to the reserver for power it only draws around 1.2 amps and it has a 5.5V cut off. Its fully proportional and delivers plenty of smoke, the first day I did 3 flight with smoke and there was no noticeable drain on my batteries. Depending on how you install the pump it can be removed in a few seconds, mine is bolted down with two 4-40`s and is snap to move to another plane if needed.
