Rubber grommets under the three mounting tabs,(with foam under the body) servo screwed into plywood has served me well the past 3 years. Just don't over tighten them.

Mount the reg on foam and use velcro to hold it down. Most other (screws, zip ties, etc) ways will transfer vibration and can cause the regulator to fail (it depends on the vibration residence).

The Velcro band works just as well.

But when I say rubber grommets, I don't mean the "servo" ones, i mean 1/2" by 1/2" soft rubber grommets, if done properly, vibration is not transfered.

is the blue light suppose to stay on all the time when the battery is plug up to the reg? I must have mine hook up wrong or something if not suppose to. I can still cut the ignition on and off.

by the way clean setup

You have the battery plugged directly in to the regulator. The switch should be between the battery and regulator. The light should be on whenever the switch is on.

That looks a lot like the GP Cap 580 Chapman.

The fromeco regulators are easy to set up. Foam and a zip tie...also make sure you check the voltage. Mine came set for 5 volts..I had to reprogram for 6 volts.

The servo screws and gromets work perfect... just snug the screws and you are ready to rock and roll!
