Default I already got fed up waiting for summer

Well it did not take me long.
I got fed up waiting for winter to end.

So I fitted skis to my Reaction 54 and tried them out in the snow, they work great.

Oh ya a friend of mine had his scratch built sport design on skis 2 years ago. It had an underslung WR-54 and a 16 pound jet. He had over 50 flight within the three months that we had snow. enjoy it.

Looks great. Glad you're getting your winter fun in.

That's awesome!! A couple of taxi trip up and down the runway and you could switch back to wheels.

Just don't hit the retract switch!!

Cheers,
Dave

LOL, man, you're a die hard! I guess I feel VERY lucky, I flew yesterday in 80° weather at our local club airshow.

It is not cold till it is sub zero °F.
Thats still not TOO cold, just cold.
At 80° I am locked in the house with the A/C on full blast. That is way to hot for human habitation. I would move north quick if I were you.

For safety I do not fill the retract or brake tanks or connect any of the air lines to the wing. The retract wells are all taped over so that I do not pack 5lbs of snow inside the wing or nose.
I guess I was thinking the same thing as you guys.

I got 2 more flights on New Years day, 14°F and wind 20-30MPH. It was a great day.
