Flyboy, You can't go wrong with Fliton. Build quality is amazing. I have the Quiet Storm right now and love it. Go for it. Mike Darr |

Fliton planes are awesome. The Extreme Flight extra is Awsome. Both around the same price (sort of) Both kick major butt. Either way... you will have a great little plane.

The e-flite yak is awesome. It is great for outdoors cause it can handle a good amount of wind. The built up fuse can be a pain to repair (not as bad a balsa) but that is also what gives it such good flight charactoristics. I like to only fly foamies with vacuum formed fuses or built of fuses like this so I can fly outside and the is no flex or twisting in the tail.

You can buy the Extreme Flight Extra with everything for around that price at Atlanta Hobby. Cliff Whitney is a great guy with tons of experience. It's hard to find a question about electrics that he can't answer. The Eflite Yak is fragile. The Fliton planes usually require bracing around the wing cradle, and sometimes require other reengineering. Plus the instructions can sometimes leave you hanging. I have yet to read a bad thing about the Extreme Flight Extra. I'd hate to see you get turned off from electrics because of a bad experience, and I think this plane will prevent that. Especially if you're used to flying larger planes.
