Default Thnx to Sadler ,from Ritewingrc.com AKA smokin fast wings

Bob Thnx for the invite to Joe Nall,we had more fun here, and were recieved better at this event than any other electric only event we have ever be too.

Thnx to all the nall event people, and thnx to chaz for the constant supply of moonshine it was great.

Just so you guys know We were the guys flying the smokin fast electric wings,Shulman did a great job showing you guys how good a fine tuned Ritewing Demon can handle, Thnx Jason.

We had a great time, all of you guys are top notch, thnx for the hospitality. You really know how to apreciate performance .

Thnx for letting us fly along with all you guys we really apreciate the oportunity ,and hope we can come back next year.

Here is a vid of the basic 4s setup doing radar speed proof runs. This is the one shulman was flying.
Enjoy
Here is als a second vid of a few others mixed up and edited.

Those wings were awesome! I'm glad you posted because I couldn't remember what they were called

Jas did an awesome job saving that wing when it snapped over on him at full speed

Could you post the specs on the ones that were flying?

Well thnx,
There were 3 differant configurations we were flying.

The wings are 40 inch wingspan Ritewing Demon's

# 1 the one JAS was flying a 4s 5000 mahr powerd ,motor was 2800 kv BL arc motor and a 80 amp esc top speed 165 mph
#2 was Tims it was on 5s 4500 mahr bats on a 80 amp esc 2200 kv bl arc motor 165 mph
#3 mine was 6s 4000 mahr on a 1900 kv neu moto and a cc 125 esc.Top speed over 170 mph.

Rpms on these guys are 33k to 36 k static, the noise is generated by the prop slap and the tips are also breaking the sound barrier causing the raspy sound.

I also use the 6/4 apc pylon props , not e props ,all props are pre ballanced before installed.

These wings are appx 10 years of tweaking and design to get them to fly like this.

They aint zagies.

Thnx for the interest ,you guys blew me away with your hospitality and all around good vibes.
I had never expected that here,But It is true you guys love power speed and performance ,and a bit of noise is music to your ears ,the scream it is the sound of performance

All 3 models were using xps recievers and modules, They can be installed in fut jr or hightec tranmitters ,they allow you to use whatever tx you like. the wings all had seperate 6v bats to feed rxs so there is no rx loss issues like when using seperate bec's sometimes causes issues.Basicly anything that uses a module the xps stuff is compatible usually.
I use an hitec eclips 7 and it is 2.4 now.

I had let JAS use the lightest wing for the demo, it is the best yanker and banker so he could go nuts,he pushed it so hard on an outside turn that the battery lid had slightly open that is what caused it to dive after the hard outside turn he did,I had never had that happen,LOL He is crazy.

Chris

It is a module that turns radios to 2.4 by removing the antenna and installing a new module.
http://www.xtremepowersystems.net/ is the place to get the info if you need it.

Well Chris it's only taken 1 crash and almost 3 years of flying it to finally find the perfect combo for me...lol. And I almost blew it again, and at the Nall during the demo's . Thankfully I took the second to figure out what had just happened before I smashed that one.

Thanks again for letting me fly the Demons. No one can wipe the from my face after a flight with one of those! And you were right, it will turn inside the tree line for sure. Just have to watch the wind or was it rollers again .

Or at least the "good" information on their products. Sorry, that was uncalled for.
My comment was in regards to the pic.
You're holding a dx7 in the pic but you decided to use xps for nall?

Those are some sweet wings. I've flown a smaller home made wing clocked at 95 and it was haulin. It feels so fast cause its tiny compaired to a pylon racer.
