Hello from Southwest Missouri

Just got back into RC flight after a 15 year break (last flew at 14, 29 now). Back then I was flying a Sig Midstar 40 after a few trainers - never really had the balls to do anything more than your standard loop/roll/split S

Flying electric balsa and some foam now, learning 3D and having a blast.

Fleet now is

3DHS 47" Yak
3DHS Velox
PZ T-28 Trojan
DW Foamies Yak Jr
E-foamies R3D Mini
E-Flite Extra 260 profile
U-Can Do 3d EPP

Welcome to FG from fellow Missourian. We have quite active representation on this board. Lot's of St. Louis based flyers. If you're ever up this way, we can point you to a variety of nice places to fly.

Look at all the SW MO folks coming out of the wood work.

Great fly in this weekend at Orchard Park.

I have flown several times at Bauder park when in Fenton on business, because it is close to the hotel.

Back in the mid 90s I was a member of the club with the paved strip out north of Springfield...Springfield RC I think - looking for a club now. I'll definitely check the Ozark club out. Where is it exactly?

Our club field is on Cheyenne Rd., 6 tenths of a mile south of Hwy CC, between Nixa and Ozark. From Springfield, go south on Hwy 65 to Hwy CC west 1.5 miles to Cheyenne south 6 tenths of a mile to the field gate on the west side of the road.

Another route is to go south on Campbell Ave. (US 160) to Hwy CC. Go east on CC to Cheyenne Rd. then south to the field gate.
