Default BME 58 EXTREME

Anybody running one ? have any numbers on props and RPM and how they Idle, Transition ETC. 3LBS 2.4OZS wit muffler and ignition

I was just on the BME site and saw that it was out. Really wanted a few years back, but settled for the BME 50. Now the 58 has me interested! I'm curious too how good this is & if it really is that light!

i can deal with the power of a 60cc and the weight of who knows what lol it does appear that carb may hang out of my cowl some but that is kewl

They have changed that now the carb 90 degrees for better linkage I just spoke to BME and they confirmed this

Are you sure they made the carb point back wards, or did they just rotate it on the reed block??

Status: offline the first 10 engines have the carb mounted 90 off. all the engine from now will not have that problem. i have changed the program to move the carb 90 back. there are only 10 that way. tom

This was in reference to linking the throttle arm to the servo. By saying 90 degrees back, he is saying rotated not angled. On the one in the picture the throttle arm is on the back so it would need some sort of bell crank if the carb was not rotated.

I'm not sure but the way the trhead was guys were complaining about the carb sticking so far out I guess will have to wait and see?

Just got off the phone with BME and your right they just rotated the carb 90degrees for better linkage!
