Default Eflite funtana 300

Do any of you guys have this? I am trying to finish mine up. The length of wire from my esc to battery is to short making the CG to far up. Also the controll surfaces have some slop. Any suggestions?

mine is still in the brown box from H H. I think i have a 400 motor for it and some small brand of servos that I plan to test this baby out who knows when. I have it now so its going to work for my needs lol

I think the servos are part of the problem. The push rods are part of the problem too, there is like a Z bend that makes it worse too.

Well I just got a new speed controller and battery in the mail after the other one blew up. This one has a longer wire! Now she's ready to go! Although I am still going to have to do something about the slop from the Z-bend. Any other thoughts?

Should I put on the Side Force Generators?

Put a drop of CA in the control horn hole, then keep it moving until it kicks. It should be better, but keep in mind its still a foamie, and there will be some slop

It has these things on the control horn. I installed them and put a drop of CA were the metal post and the black piece of plastic meet making sure to push down. That fixed the problem.

Z-bends work great as long as the hole isn't too large. As Mahak said, a drop of CA will tighten up the holes in control horns very well.
