Default ball links at both ends?

The geometrical configuration of rudder servo arms (rudder servos located at rear of fuselage) to rudder horns is such that the best way is to use ball links at both ends. However the rudder control horn is one of those large Dubro type heavy duty horn ( not the screw bolt type) which is normally used for clevises . Can a ball link be used on these? ...seems kind of thin to fasten on a 4-40 ball link.

I would not do it, the ball link will put a twisting load on the control horn. On questions like this it is best to describe the plane it is to be used on.
