| Hello Max, Looks like I am the only one new to 3D.. Ok I'll bite... :0) How does the G3 sim compare to the real thing? .. I have been leaning the TR and hover.. seems good but haven't had a chance to test the real thing yet. Really enjoying your IMAC videos and the set up videos. Keep up the good work.. All the best.. Angel, The majority say that AFPB Pro Deluxe is the best. I've flown both and I have to agree, however I only own the G2 version. Riverdancer, Make sure you have "real world conditions" on like, some wind to make sure you are getting conditions that you will actually find at your flying field. Also make sure your planes, that you are practicing on, are "real world" weights and sizes. Some simulator planes are much lighter than the real bird, making them fly much easier than the real model. Remember, as a newbie, if you can take a selected plane up on the sim and hover it the first time, it probably isn't set up like the real thing.

I would say that the sims are far more forgiving then a real plane. However they sure keep repair costs down. IMO it is a matter of training your fingers and mind to react, and not think. Any other opinions?

Thanks Ken..I have been been using throws, weights and power that are common to what I have to fly.. I will look forward to testing the the real thing..I plan to use an OMP Kat 70v2 to learn with.. power is going to be a Saito 125 or maybe an OS120Ax the follow up will be an Edge 540 and Brison 58 :0) Thanks for your comments.. Riverdancer, It sounds like you're going about it the right way. I will be getting that same plane, not that I need another plane, but it looks like it flies so sweet, I couldn't resist. Mine will have a YS-91AC for power, should be just enough
