Thumbs down Whats the GIG with Mother nature.

Man..

So the weather finally breaks here in Ohio , and ALL week long I sit in my office working away, looking out the window at the SUNNY 70 deg weather, and dream of flying.
ALL WEEK its SUNNY, slightly breezy.... but warm and SUNNY!!!!

So I get pumped, I get planes all ready and get primed for the weekend.
Check the old weather forcast and....

SAT: RAIN 65% - 55deg
SUN: RAIN 55% - 60 deg

and then just to rub it in....
Monday - 70 deg and sunny.

WTF!?!?!

Is this Hell? Did I die, and I'm serving time in HELL?!?!
This has to be.... cause this just ain't right.
This is seriously driving me nuts..

Does a DA-50 rust? can balsa handle water - cause I'm thinking swimming goggles, a zip loc freezer bag over the 9CHP, and a rain coat and I'm flying anyways...

ARRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Sleepy I feel for ya man.. Over the winter it was like that all the time!

I started blaming it on global warming...

But were having our first rain right now in the past like 2 months.

I hear ya SleepyC, I live in Euclid and know exactly what your saying.

I am soooooooo sick of Ohio weather, the only thing keeping me here is my job, if I lose my job I leave Ohio in a heartbeat.

I'm gonna go to the field tomorrow regardless of the weather reports, you know how they can change minute by minute.

Sleepy you could have been having our weather. In the last couple of weeks we have had tornados, thunder storms, floods, even one night of 7 inches of rain in 3 hours. Between on the days that I work we have been having 70 deg weather with sunshine. Last night it was fog so thick that top speed on the highway was 35 mph. But I can say that I have had a couple of days off lately that were on the good side. It was to windy to fly so went fishing and mushroom hunting. Had fresh fish and mushrooms for supper that night.

Come down to Australia to fly Sleepy!!!

It rains a bit where I live now on the coast. But the place I lived before moving to where I am now is RC heaven for weather. I lived there for 18 months, in those 18 months we had about 7 days when it rained, total!!!

Also you dont need to put the models away for winter. Winter is the best weather of the year!!!! Sometimes in summer its just too hot to fly. On those days I would leave it till 5 or 6pm to go to the field, you would still have enough daylight at 9.30pm to fly in.................
