Default EVO 300 torquerolling

I thought I would share some photos of our EVO 300cc engine by a Swiss flyer.

Guys,

I'm trying to get all the info on this plane from the horses mouth. All I know other than what what Roger has posted is the planes going to that big giant scale meet in France. Fuerte Alais or some name similar. Sorry to any of you French guys if I got that wrong.

As soon as I get the info or I'm sure if Roger gets it before me it will be posted.

Can anyone tell me the date of the big airshow in France. It would be a real hoot if we could find some of our boys in France who just might be going to share some pictures from the event. I heard they have a restriction on wingspan and if your under like 120 inches you aint welcome.

Will keep you posted if and when I get more info.

Kiwi

That looks like tons of aileron deflection to keep the aircraft from TR'ing. Unless @ the time they took the shot, he was making an attitude correction.

From the looks of the plane, it looks like one of our Yaks that we sent over to europe. We had a batch of our 40% yaks over there in the same scheme. So my guess is its a AM 40% yak.

Well Kiwi, I will try and find out, but I would be surprise if it was just a 40%, as the engine is double the size and power of what is normally needed for this size airplane

As for the show in France, its being held at La Ferte Alais. I have a DVD of it here and this is the place to be, unbeleivalbe airplanes..

So many places to go and so little time and money . LOL

Isnt a 40% yak going to be as big as a 45 or so percent extra.

Unless somebody else makes a plane that is 98% like the AM 40% Yak, then I am 99% sure that this is the AM Yak. The 40% AM Yak is underpowered with the regular 150cc engines, and it balances fine with a 12-15 lb engine and handles the power fine. The smoother running of the four cylinder over a twin will be even better for the plane. The only part of the plane that's over stressed with the larger engine is the landing gear, which seems to squatt excessively, but some cross wires and springs from OSH handles that problem.

Anyone remember who put the Herbie on one of the AM 40% Yaks?...........said the airframe handled the weight just fine...powered it nicely
