Default Term Paper

Well 10th grade and world history in school. She gave us a term paper to write and it is anything in world history. Well guess what I chose. The airplanes of WW2!!!!!!! So far I am half way done. It has to be 6-8 pages long with footnotes. Everything in it has to be correct. The highest grade ever made on this paper was a 96. Our teacher doesnt believe in 100s. I was just wondering if yawl have ever done anything like this. The paper is due Monday and if you are interested I will post the paper on here for yawl to read.

Good luck with it. Atleast you are able to write about a topic you enjoy. I have written plenty of papers in my time through undergraduate and grad school. Even have about a dozen 40 pagers in my file, along with my 80 page masters thesis. 6-8 pages on a topic like airplanes should be no sweat! Shoot for the 100!!!

I'm in 10 grade too, wish I had something that easy, just starting to cram for that American History AP Test, good luck with yours though.

yah, get a 100, proof read it and make it thurough and follow all the conditions so she has absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Then you can demand a hudred when all she says is good job, 98

I did a research paper my freshman year on the X-15. It was 14 pages long and, oddly enough, I enjoyed doing it! That airplane is so amazing it's unbelieveable.

I did a college paper on military UAV's. It's great to choose something you want to know more about anyways!

I did one in high school on WW I aircraft. I mainly chose it because it was the night before and I had to write about something I knew something about. I did some drawings and charts as filler and got an A. Nothing like falling back on your interests in a pinch....

I did 4 papers on aircraft when I was in high school, but of course I was also taking an Aerospace Science class. that class was really fun, made going to high school even more enjoyable. Good luck with your paper, As I am also off to do a power point presentation final for my microeconomics class tomorrow (friday) morning.

did a 5 pager on "the many facets of RC planes" for one of my Aviation classes in college ;-) got a 100% could very well be my only 100% ever!

a little word of advice to you guys, when picking a topic, be sure that it's not so broad that you have trouble really defining what you are writing about. On the flip side, don't pick a topic so narrow or obscure that you have trouble finding enough information about it. for example, instead of writing a paper covering ALL airplanes used in WWII (many books can be written on this topic) maybe choose on aircraft and really dive into learning all you can about it. You might even narrow it down to something like the Rolls Royce Merlin engine. There is enough history behind that engine that you could easily fill a paper on that topic alone. picking a unique topic is the first step towards getting that 100% hope you do well on your paper, i'd definately like to read it when you are finished.

Pitviper51,
Man, after seeing your pic of Crazy Horse, it brought back to me the fun I had at the controls of this plane. It was a total blast. I had the chance to fly for an hour with Mr Lauderback, who owns Stallion 51 where Crazy Horse is based. I had won the 1 hour flight from a raffle that was held a few year back at Joe Nall that Matt Chapman had put together the prizes for to rasing money for the Youth Master, I think ? Best $20 one could spend, Right Matt Chapman and Bob Sadler ??????? Sorry guys, that one is an inside joke that goes back to the phone call from both guys telling me I won and me not believing them .

But back to the term papers, I did mine on the history of the space program my senior year and have to say that it was the most enjoyable paper I did in school.
