Here are some pics from today. The pilots were Kurt Cook from Fromeco, Ron Good, and me Tony Thomasian. Planes were, 42% aeroworks edge 540 - DA 150, Aviation Models 30% yak 54 - DA 50, and Comp-arf 3.3m yak 55 - ZDZ 210

Garrett, Yeah - the Aeroworks Edge is like 10 years old and still doin well at least the airframe. The servos keep wearing out though. Blew out the rudder servos this weekend... lets just say the rudder was a little abused... hummm. Botched attempt at a harrier landing -tail first and a crack- pulled out the hinges and blew out the gears on all three rudder servos.. It was fun !!!! Ronster |

Pitviper, The field is up near Portland just alittle south off of I-5. Mollala is east of Woodburn about 14 miles on 214. Have your bud come up for West Coast Champonships in July at Mollala. Pitviper, I went to the club website and couldn't find anything about the West Coast IMAC Championship but The mini-iac.com website says it's on the 27th thru the 30th of July. That reminds me I need to put in for vacation now!!!! Ronster |
