I am not going to be going to Joe Nall this year but am arranging to buy a 39% Aeroworks Extra that will be delivered @ the event. I was wondering if any of my FL brothers that will attending the event would have room to truck this bird home, I will compensate anyone whom will and then come to their home to pic the plane up after. I live in Jupiter, FL just North of West Palm Beach. Thanks, Matthew Fehling (evangelion5154@hotmail.com: 561-744-1309) Last edited by Sandbag Special; 05-12-2006 at 05:39 AM. |

Well, not to be mean, but being 17, buying a plane, and not having a secure way of getting it home.... You should have thought about this a little more. I could have helped you in the winter, but I am done with Fl for the summertime...

To be honest there are a lot of insurance reasons to not transport the plane. What if the plane is not in the condition you last viewed it. Then when Mr. Good delivery guy drops the plane off, you could try and blame the person for the damage. Not that you would, and I'm not saying your that type of person... but you can see what I'm saying. Or worse yet perhaps the picture you saw of the plane was taken 4 years ago, and the plane looks nothing like what you think you bought... once again... the delivery guy would not want to be caught up in this. Sorry to be the reality guy, but I'm just showing you why perhaps many have not volunteered.

Hey, I forgot... GreyHound can ship a mighty big box for very little money. I shipped a huge Bonanza once with then 1.5 years ago. Give that a thought. Of course you wont get the plane for another 1-2 weeks, but GreyHound is my thought!

| It's official, thanks Verne... ![]() |
My guess is, the guys that are going all ready have their vehicle full with their own birds. The only way they would have room is if they put one of theirs in, that's a horrible thought!!

Greyhound is the BOMB. I got a 33% bird shipped from Cali to Ohio for $84 and it came in Perfect condition! And it only took 4 days! Thats the way to go!
