Hey John,

Good to have you join us!!

Electrics are one of my favorite parts of this hobby. It won't be long before the cost of flying electric will be the same or cheaper than gas or glow, though some say it's almost there now.

Remember you don't have to fly giant scale to be a Flying Giant!! Keep the right attitude, have fun, push your gear and yourself and that's all there is to it!!

Welcome to the Giants!!!

Welcome! Where do you fly up there? Gene Payson has his shop up there (www.troybuiltmodels.com) and he is awesome to deal with.

I have yet to fly up there but I have flown Sparks in St. Pete. We all started somewhere and just having a PMA (positive mental attitude) and having fun is what its all about!

Welcome John,

That is a beautiful area. I have a good friend that has a house in Sarasota for the winters. Who knew that there was an Amish community there!! Also there were a few people from that area at the Jow Nall. I never got the chance to talk with them, I was a busy week but they were noticed. If you were one of the ones I saw, Sorry I didn't take the time to chat.
