Hey guys,

Home from the first time at the Joe Nall. Really glad Susan and I went, now I see what everyone has been raving about! What a spectacular event! I hope to return next year.

A big shout out and huge thank you to the Airfarce guys who helped me out with an emergency header weld job; Mark Davidson and Topper Hartness, you saved my bacon and did a superb job of it! Thanks to Bob Vess for the gift of a prop!

Thanks to Pat Hartness for extending the hospitality of his wonderful airdrome! Thanks Gene for the golf cart ride and Jim the flight line master for his help! I wish I could remember everyone's name, but thank you all just the same!

If Bob Saddler Who did most of the announcing, (hope I got the name right) reads this, drop me a line so we can talk about doing a combat demo in the halftime show next year if you like. I'll try to bring an extra plane for you to fly!

Everyone I met there was just great and since I needed help getting a few things sorted out on my plane the guys I asked about it were all very helpful and instrumental in solving the elusive airflow problem I had experienced. Thanks guys!

What's combat???

Just kiddin' dude, talk about focus! I tried combat, very hard to keep the whole sky in your line of vision and you sure as heck need good depth perception. My biggest problem was I couldn't laugh at losing a plane, way too attached to my planes!!
