I finally got tired of looking at the "you havent posted yet" banner at the top of the page so I figured it was time to make apost in hopes it will go away. More on topic... I have recently gotten into the big birds. I have several planes and helicopters. leaning more towards the large scale planes now and moving away from the helis. hope to have lots of fun this summer. |

Welcome to the Giants. There is a lot of good information on the site about all types of powered planes and Helios. Remember flying Giant doesn't have to mean giant scale. It means taking what ever you have and pushing the limits of your self and the aircraft in a safe manner.

Yeeha! Another Hawk eye! Where is Chelsea and are there pheasants there? Born in Mt. Pleasant, lived in Burlington. What I miss most about Iowa; tenderloin sandwiches, Sterzings potato chips and Dutch letters from Pella. Glad to have you here dude!

Hey Craig, First of all, it's great to have you join the site!! Like Wiz said, you don't have to fly Giant scale to be a Flying Giant!! I happen to be building my second giant scale aerobatic fight now. I've had a 30% Ultimate and also have a 30% Cessna 152, beautiful airplane, but, come on now, it's still a Cessna. My 30% Yak will be done in about 2 weeks, in time for the Huckfest in Ohio!! Browse around the site and enjoy, the pics and vids are great and the info endless!! Welcome to the Giants!!!

so far I own about 12 planes most are 40-60 size but I also have a 25% cap232, a 30% cap232 a 29% christen eagle. a 31% Aeroworks Edge 540T and recently aquired a 46% H9 TOC ultimate Bipe. also had 14 helis. all glow powered but have since started the fleet reduction and am down to one heli now. and may just get out of them altogether. so as you see I have a pretty wide variety.
