Default Aerotech 42% Velox Huckin'

We'll when i should be practicing for the nats... i decide to take the camera out and do some huckin' really didn't do anything cool..but took a few pics to show you what a velox can do....and by the way for the 3W users i put a mesilik 28.5x10 3 blade on my 157 and had a awesome out come... this monster turned that prop 5800 on the ground and just pulled the big velox all over the sky... the breaking was not to bad... a little fast but, the vertical was incredable....

Looks good Stephen. What other props have you tried on your 157. Me and my buds seem to think 32-14 is the ticket for these motors. Vessprops just about to drop a 33 A-D thats gonna be the ticket for mine i think.

Stephen, I have been thinking about trying the 28.5x12 3-blade on my 157/Dalton 260. What was the difference you noticed between the 32x14 and the mejlik? I have been running the 32x14 for a couple of months and really like it but I think it might be to slow especially in windy conditions. I tried the 3W 32x12 this weekend and there is no way you can fly Imac with it because of the noise. I am looking for something that gives me a little bit faster uplines.

Jonas, I flew the 32x14 3w prop... it was good but when i put the 28.5x12 3 blade i noticed a huge diffrence on the vertical....The breaking was decsent maybe not as good as the 32x14 but the higher and stronger vertical made up for it.... I would really suggest trying it.... hope it helps....

Are you running the narrow, swept or wide blade prop. I was going to order one but did not realize that there were 3 different versions to choose from. Me, Ryan, Phil and Jeremy are headed to the Pensacola contest in a couple of weeks so if you are there I can see how it runs on your plane.
