You need heaps of poke on the motor 50sx running slightly rich on 20% nitro with a 12.25x3.75 APC. Also the plane has 2 mini servos sitting together where the single aileron servo goes. You need flaperons, so when I pull up the ailerons come down to boost the elevator input. Small fast inputs are the go, the plane is in balance if not to windy. It torque rolls on a dime in the calm. Just hang the plane via the prop nut by hand and make sure prop is level to know if thrust is right. The classic trainer just needs to be bolted in strait, no up or down thrust with bit of right.

LOL its funny to turn up at a new field and say you have just gone solo with ur trainer and pop it into a torqueroll from takeoff.

Matt,

Nice photos mate, even towballs mutt look interested in the happenings of the day. No offence TB, nice dog.

But you guys have really screwed up the industry with those photos. Until now we all knew you needed a proper 3D plane to do that. You know a DA50, 80 inches of wing, very low wing loadings etc etc. Weeks of trimming and setups, a 14MZ or a JR 10X and then if your dumb thumbs are quick enough you can join the 3D club.

Now the sales of DA's will drop, C-ARF will drop sales like a rock all because you guys have shown it can be sone with a $350 out of the box trainer.

Ohh sorry, I forgot the ten plus years of skills training to do those trick with a trainer.

Its OK guys keep making DA's and 3dubya"s and C-ARF's.

Seriously you guys have too much fun, someone needs to put a stop to all this.

Kiwi
