so i havent flown in over a month, so i get home from work, its frigging 100 deg in central fla and i decide to go to the field. so i throw in the trusty mojo and supplys in the van and off i go. i get to the field and take out all gear saving the plane till last, as iam pulling out the mojo i completely smash the tail on the wing rack. well since iam at the field i decide ill line it up as best as possible cause i didnt throw in any ca, and just huck-it. well if that wasnt bad enough. i couldnt get my trusy saito 72 to run for more than 5 seconds, so i look for a new plug in my box to find out that iam out of 4 stroke plugs. i figure i have to have a plug that will work out of the 10 different manufactures and cold to hot from short to long reach. but nothing works, by now the sweat is so heavy i cant see, and the fire ants arent helping. so i start checking plugs with my trusty 12 year old pro south driver and getting good readings per the leds but no glowing on the plugs, strange i thought, havent see this before. so upon inspection of the driver i find the tip has broken off the from the hot wire inside the plug adapter. so i figure no problem ill use the back up driver , not that ive ever had to use it. but you guessed it its dead. lets charge it up no problem give me 10 munites and ill be hucking. iam looking for my special charge wire for it and you guessed it its not in my field box. buy this time iam ready to start kicking things but i didnt. i just sat down almost drowing in sweat, cant see for the salt in my eyes, blisters forming on my feet and legs from the fire ant bites. but as i sat there thinking, isnt this great just being at the field and no one else to be whitness this episode of the 3 stooges. i started looking around just too see if if i was set up, but no such luck. i started laughing and just sat there until i saw the sun set it was nice. after thinking about it i still enjoyed the effort. this was a first for me, but i would like to flown just once.. by the by the mojo was fixed that night and new plug installed and last but not least the glow driver was fixed as well. ready for this weekend.
