30" Skeeter Phat Boy from BillyHell RC..!!

these are laser cut kits available from http://www.billyhellrc.com/phatboy.html luckily mine was built/painted by the designer, but i also have a kit and it is just amazing..!

i have a few more things left to do before the maiden, but i thought i would post what i have gotten done so far for the folks here on FG

you can look at that link for specs on it, and my plane is going to have:

Razor 350 in a "D" gearing with 12x3.8 APC SF prop
Phoenix 10 esc
Electron 6
bms-306 servos
3S 620's from Dualsky

mine is covered with "doculam" and is FREAKIN LIGHT

here is what i have gotten done so far in 2 nights...mine came as an "ARF"

all i lack is 2 servo extensions, the wheel pants, canopy, and some linkages for ailerons and i will be ready to maiden this little bad ass..

i am figureing under 11 ounces rtf!!!

50%, thats wayyyy too small for an OS .25. I have a buddy who is converting one to Norvel .074 power, and with that it will nearly be ballistic.

the norvel should make it do MAD TRICKS..!

running up the razor with the 12x6 on it last night it holds itself up at about 3 clicks under 1/2..!
