| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | TNT has gears for them. Just remember very stiff gears will rip the landing gear off in hard landings. Try to get one that is somewhat flexible. Thank you, Reza Quique's Aircraft Support

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | Hi There, I have seen more incidence with CF gear on our Yaks resulting in fuse or landing gear being ripped off than stock landing gear. The stock landing gear will give up before any damage to happen on the structure. The after market CF gear that I have seen are so stiff and rigid that would transfer all the load from impact right to your landing gear structure. One should be careful when using those rigid landing gears. On regular landings there won't be any problem what's so ever but on hard landings depending on the angle that the impact happens, first thing will be damaged is your landing gear structure. I have had over 150 flights with stock gear, no signs of fatigue on the gear neither a prop strike. You can land that plane at crawl speed if you wanted to. Just a word of caution, nothing against your experience. Thank you, Reza Quique's Aircraft Support

| Warning I fly 3D ! ![]() | I have to say I have wrecked five props in 20 flights . Anything less than a perfect landing and my prop is in the runway . I am using 22x8 on DA 50. I am quite bothered by the softness of the gear. If it was a couple inches taller it might work. The first three props were $50.00 CF props . |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | Hi Reza,I agree the stock landing gear does absorb landing shock extremely well...I'm running a 23" prop and haven't had a prop strike yet...It just seems over time the gear is slowly squatting and sagging outward, also looks horrible....Landing gear should be bowed in a bit for better tracking and ground handling IMO....Was just looking for a little better alternative, will probably get another stock one...Absolutely love the plane ,just wish the gear wasn't a little on the weak side..Thanks for your replies Reza...wingburner |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | wingburner, You are right! Over a certain time frame, lets a year, it will start doing that. The new one on the 86" will be a little stiffer. If you've never had a problem such as hard landings then get the aluminum or CF from TNT. I don't recommend the CF gear to those who have hard landings more often for the reason stated above. I haven't seen the aluminum ones, I did ask TNT to send me some info on them but haven't got anything yet! anyway, if the aluminum is a little more flexible than the CF and not much heavier, then aluminum is the way to go. Thank you for your comments on the plane. Cheers, Reza

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | I agree landing gear doesn't give you good clearance for 24". I think you need the CF LG.
