Default lets rock, heres some not so heavy metal

Heres a model i'm getting built. The major structual parts is built up from using aluminium

classic british Chris foss wot4 which is for a 40 size IC, scaled down to a 50" wing span for a leccy set up.

most of the tail is ali, along with the main fus frame and the wing

What about radio issues? A heard of a guy that tried building a plane out of carbon fiber rods and had so much radio interference, he had to shelve the project.

Neat idea though. I'm always impressed when folks try new things.

I met Carlos at the Oshkosh flyin back in 2000. Haven't seen what he's been up to since then. Sounds like he's still at it! I've done a little sheet metal work, just enough to know that I could NOT make an airplane like that!!! Truly amazing stuff!
