Default DA 50 help needed

Ok so I was doing inverted to upright harriers today and got too low on the last one. If you saw my pictures of flying my ultimate I think you will understand. Most flying happened below 50ft!

The last harrier I got too low (upright) and was running with the wind and just about to stall. Managed to avoid a big mound of dirt but landed in a bush. Broke off both tips of the prop and flattened gear a bit but thats all.

The big question, should I send the DA 50 back to get looked at? I put on a new prop and I got my same rpm 7200 with a 22x8. Didnt seem to vibrate anymore though I didnt put another flight on it. Seems to make a click noise when I turn the prop either way. It made it before and I checked my 3W 150 and it seems to make the same noise when I just turn the prop.

Both engines make a little click noise when you turn the prop either way before compression. I think my Saito 180 did the same also.

Any feedback or comments would be great!

The click is normal, it's the ring sliding up and down in the piston. There's a little play in it and it's normal. Mine does it too, so does everybody elses.

Yeah it was a woodie! NX 22 x 8. I need to upload my flying videos. Those rolling harriers running with the wind make it easy to get into that oh SH@*# moments.

It should be ok. I would put a new prop on it and run it up and see how it goes. I check for any excess vibes or unusual sounds. But if it sounds ok when turned by hand and doesn't bind anywhere it should be ok. But if in any doubt send it back...

My DA 50's make the same clicking sounds also..

Yeah I put a new prop on it and did that - checkout my first post!!

Made the same RPM and such. I was almost hoping that I would have balled up that plane so I could put my DA on a new Extra Too many planes this month.

Well probably because:
1. 40% Carden Cap with 3W150
2. WH 260 custom covered in Dalton Aviation scheme with DA 100
3. 2.6M Comp ARF Yak fantasy scheme in need of DA 100
4. WH Ultimate 29% With DA 50
5. 38% Eagle Aviation Christen Eagle in need of DA 100

I would rather put the money toward a bigger plane. I also kinda want another 40%. Too many planes = too much work!! For the planes I have now I need at least 1 more DA 100. The bigger planes just fly so much better and the 28% is really for beater flying! To be honest the Comp ARF I bought also to see how much 3D abuse it can take

Anyone live in the South FL area and wanna split rent on a wharehouse? I think it would rock to have a big place to store planes and have about 3 work tables. Be a cool place to have my drumsets too.
