I've flown my buddy's Carden Edge/3W150 with a 31x11 and it had LOTS of grunt low in the stick. He wasn't running a throttle curve (which I think it a must). They are a popular prop with 3D guys because of the low end grunt, but they can get noisy.

They are a great 3D prop, tons of low end pulling power. They are very loud if you have a motor strong enough to rip them, and if you rip them too hard the prop ends will delaminate. So, they are a great 3d prop, not good for fast high speed flying or imac type flying. I find they run out of steam really quick going uphill for imac type flying. If you want a straight up 3d prop, they are the one to get IMO. I think the only place that has them now is prince aircraft, dont think aircraft extreme has any more.

I am not being negative, but if they rocked , they would be more available and popular.

They're good for hovering the entire flight because they help keep the motor cool, but they arent really for any kind of IMAC, i'd be afraid to full throttle them on a straight line. They rip like crazy too.

My 32-10 performed great on my DA150.. Lots of low end torque. TR's and all post stall maneuvers had alot more control. The sound is VERY LOUD !! However at 250.00 I don't think I would buy another. The biggest problem I see is the Tip delamanation. IMHO this is VERY dangerous... I sold mine and the buyer had to have the tips relamanated along with a prop he already owned. Im now running the Mejlick (sp?) 32-10 and love it...

I was/am Aircraft Extreme. I was selling them for the year or so when they didn't have a dealer and were considering stopping production. Since they have a few dealers now, I haven't stocked any. In think Q13 Hobbies carries some. Dave, not sure why I didn't answer your email. There was a couple of month timeframe way back where I wasn't getting the emails, but didn't know it. There is not a lot of demand for the P-Tips, very small market, so I was only getting a couple of emails a month. Not hard to miss. I would either try Q13 or deal with Lonnie direct. Daniel |

Q13 hobbies still carries them. I believe they are the only ones left that do. For 3D, it is the prop to have. Last one I bought was a 22x8 for a DA 50, blew the doors off the other props I had tried.
