Just a quick question about servo ext. I noticed it takes two 48" ext for the elevator servos. I can find like 36" ext but no twisted 48" 'ers. How many ext can you join together before you notice a voltage problem? Like if I join two 24" ext together to make the 48" I need, any problems doing this? Before this bird I had a 50cc which didn't require but like 24" ext so not hard to find that length. I know I can make my own but I don't trust myself to make them. I'll do anything but make my own radio gear!! Thanks, Accaptain |

Here is a good thread on Servo extensions. It includes a build thread on extensions. Also you can call www.radicalrc.com and they will make custom lengths.

Accaptain, I used a 36" and a 12" extension. I am using all Li-ion and the voltage drop is not something that I notice in flight but that's just me. I think all above comments can get you to a one piece 48", this way you don't need to worry about having an extra safety connector in between the extensions either. Reza |
