This has all been hashed out before, the vast majority of the people that were involved in the discussion had no problem with Red exposing his son to RC at a young age. One thing you will learn, as you develop some experience with children, if Justin wasn't having fun with this, he wouldn't be doing it. In many past posts you will see that Red has stated that Justin loses focus after a period of time, then it's time to put the planes or sim away. Justin is a normal 4 year old, he happens to really like RC planes. It sounds like you feel he's being pushed, one more thing you will learn, if any 3 or 4 year old child didn't have the ability to learn rolling harriers, they couldn't be taught. Hand to eye coordination can't be drilled into you at that age, your concern may be misplaced. BTW: Happy Birthday Justin!!!

Kenny, My daughter is the perfect example... I got ALL excited when she wanted to play on the SIM. It had to be the PINK Chip Hyde bi plane but she was really excited! I was STOKED... it lasted 2 weeks... now planes are "Yucky"  YOu can not push a kid into anything at 4.... Shoot its hard to "PUSH" them into BED!! hahaha. Once again.. HAPPy B DAY LITTLE DUDE!!

Before he was able to speak his mind, when I tried to reach around to show him a move, he would simply elbow my arms away. These days, if I ask him if I can show him a move, he would simply say "I want to learn it myself" in his exact words and pretty much what K&D said. These days, he is into RC heli flying. All his moves are self taught as he would not have it any other way. I will be doing another G3 heli flying video this weekend. You guys will be SHOCKED how much he has improved since his first heli sim video 2 months ago. BTW, I could not go 4 feet and tell him "Happy Birthday" in person this morning as I am in CT on an assignment and have not seen him the whole week. I will go home this afternoon and hug him in person though. | |||||||||||||||

Heck YEA RED... SLAP A BIG OLD HUG on him!! People that don't have kids will not understand its that simple. I would have never understood anything kid related 4 years ago... none of my friends without kids understand me or my life now... If you don't have kids... you just don't understand. can't wait fo rthe heli videos! So rock on dude!
