Default Biff kicking it in British Columbia!

Dudes, I'm doing some work up here in Creston, British Columbia and I just LOVE it!! I'm working at the brewery where Kokanee is made,,,GREAT STUFF! The people here are truly down home. You hear so much about Southern hospitality, these folks have taken it to the next level!

Not only have I been treated like family (how many folks would let you borrow a Harley for an afternoon spin around the lake?!) but have been invited to family gatherings after hours. Heck, even the folks who own the hotel call me Biff!

I'm amazed just walking down the street and everyone says hi. The weather is unreal! 70 during the day and into the 60's at night. The views up here are striking to say the least. Mountains, trees and sunshine. This place is HEAVEN!

Talk about a sportsman's paradise? Elk, mule deer, white tail, mountain goat, sheep, pheasant, quail, grouse , turkey, salmon, trout,,what more could you ask for? Headed to one of my new friends house tonight for some cold Kokanee and BBQ. I'm in awe!

Would you guys like to see some photos of the brewery? We have a Hartness machine that's almost 10 years old that's running like a sewing machine. Right now I have it slowed to 36 cases per minute. If I can get my hands on a vid, I'll show you guys how beer is done. If not I'll just get some stills.

If you've not been to British Columbia you need to check it out! I've traveled all over the world and have seen some magnificent spots. But Creston, British Columbia is in the top 3 places I've ever been blessed to experience. The people are uber friendly, the views are picturesque (HUGE understatement!) and there is limitless things to do outside. Honestly I can't imagine why somebody would spend any time indoors!

Last night after coming to the hotel after work, there was a post wedding reception happening in the court by my room. I said howdy and congratulated the bride and groom. Two seconds later I was sharing Kokanee, snacks and laughter with new friends! Big time fun!

If there was ever another spot I could call home easily (well not too easily as getting through customs took almost 2 hours!!) this would be it. The only thing I haven't seen here to complete it is a model field!

Creston, British Columbia,,, this place sums up GIANT STYLE!!! Wanna place to take the family for a great time? COME HERE!!!!

Funny how your on first name terms with the owner of the pub and it just so happens that the takings have quadrupled during your stay.

Keep the business running Biffy, there dependin on ya mate.

Wait until Easter 2008. Kiwilandia here we go dude. Better make some space in that list of three you have.

Actually I would tend to think that Hell is likely a slightly warmer place than Canada mid winter.
