Anybody ever used a RC Blimp Titanium Tail Wheel? What's your feedback? Will they hold up and not bend on tail wheel touch first type landings? I'm considering getting one for a 40 pound 40%. If you have other preferences what are they? I've had Graphtech and prefer something different.

| I've got one on my Dalton (42%). Never a problem!! In fact, one of the easiest, smoothest setups I've ever used. Lots and lots of flights and not one iota of bending. Recommend it? Absolutely. |

Those clips work fine but I did add a couple of the white Dubro plastic clips as well. Just for added security. All is fine after many flights on mine.

The plastic clips work fine. I'm using three. I think Shawn originally had two in the package. I think he's now putting three or four in there now. When you call or e-mail him, make sure you ask how many he intends to provide. This is the only picture I have that shows (somewhat) the tailwheel. I can get more precise ones if you need. Thanks for the response guys. I already bought the tailwheel at Toledo this year, and I think it came with 2 plastic clips. John when you have time please shoot a pic of the bottom for me. Much appreciated. Selwyn. |

I love mine and used the supplied plastic hardware.... but I drilled my hole on an angle on accident after trying to be careful, so my wheel is a tic crooked. I dont notice it in handling, but in looks. Make sure you get it 90 when drilling. I wish they would tack a couple of tabs and just let us screw the thing to th plane.

These tail wheels are great. I definately recommend one. I had one on my extra and never had problems with it bending. If anything goes wrong with them which is rare just contact RC Blimp Productions cause there 100% guaranteed.

Selwyn, drop me a line if you need more clips I will be happy to send them out to you. As standard we are shipping with 4 clips and all mounting hardware is stainless. If you haven't already seen them we have them available in silver as well. Some guys have expressed concerns over the nylon mounting clips. Under normal conditions they do a great job, but are intended to shear in the event af a really hard arrival letteng the tailwheel easily depart from the fuse instead of ripping it apart. If you have any more questions regarding any of out products please feel free to email or call. I really like hearing what you guys in the feild are up to Shawn Berkheimer R/C Blimp Productions - Home | |||||||||||||||

Great results with mine on my 37.5% Yak, mine came with metal clips, 4 of them i believe. Working with awsome results. No bending even after getting pounded in the trailer on several LONG trips this summer.
