Hello from Oklahoma!

Hello, I'm Steve from Broken Arrow, OK, just outside Tulsa. I'm somewhat new to the hobby, I've been flying at home with several parkzone planes for a couple of years now. About two months ago I bought a Brio 10 and joined the Tulsa Gluedobbers Club. Since then I've bought a little bit larger electric P-51 also. After going and watching the flying at the "Heatwave in the Heartland" Jumbo Fly-in last weekend I'm really intersted in giant scale. Now I'm trying to learn all I can about these big planes and this looked like a good place to do that. I really like some of the 30% Extras with a 50cc engine, so that's what I'll be focusing on. Hope to be able to convince my wife I need a big plane and maybe I can appropriate some of our tax return to fund it, then attend the Jumbo next year as a pilot! That's my plan anyway

Glad you were inspired by the Heatwave, the premier event in the Midwest!!!(shameless plug). We would like to have you as a pilot next year for sure. Don't hesitate to ask if I can be any help with the "extra" search.

Thanks Tim, I'll definately be at the Heatwave next year, it was awesome. Even if I don't make it as a pilot I'll sign up to help, will be great to be a part of such a great event.
