Default Question

I am building my first airplane with a gas engine and am looking for information about the G-26. How reliable is it what is the best way to quiet the engine? It will be boing in a 1/4 scale clipped wing Taylor Craft.

Hey Steve,

Great to have you here!!

You've come to the right place for your question, however, I'm going to move your question to a new forum where it will get a lot more exposure.

Welcome to the Giants!!!

Default Re: Question

It is the PERFECT motor to fly a 1/4 scale TAylor Craft!!!!

The zenoahs run nicely, reliable.. low price... perfect match for that plane... FOR SCALE FLIGHT...
If you are expecting Torque Rolls... (Based on the model selected, I would say you aren't expecting to..)... it will be terribly underpowered....

It is a 1.5 cubic inch gas motor that has the same power as say... a 1.2 cubic inch Glow motor and twice the weight...

Check to see if there is a Bisson "Pitts" style muff for this plane... then you can side or invert mount it..

An OS 160 glow motor is better for this model in every respect (Other then it is a slimer and not MoGas)... could you consider that?
