Unhappy A change in the 3W80xi wrap-around header??

I got a crack in my old one... (wrapped it with copper wire till the new one came in) the new one's first bend is 3/4 to an inch further away from the mounting flange. No big deal right? wrong!! I had to cut a hole in the side of the cowel for the bend!! (AM 33% yak)

WHY?? Did they do this because of cracks?

This kind of has me steamed!

Scott

Yes, I believe it was because of the cracks right at the bend on the old ones.
