Vuy I love John. So flashing back to The Nall this past year, for the second time in my life, I get go hang out with this cat named John and his pack of cronies from Aerotech. For a guy that looks a lot like this dude from Super Troopers, and talks with a thick Pakistani accent, and associates himself with Canadians who run around with loafs of bread on their head, he’s aaiet. He likes sippin’ on the shine, makin’ a lot of noise and is always the life -o- the party -- my type of dude. John, along with a ton of folks from The Industry, has been a strong supporter of FlyingGiants since day one, and in case you missed it, this past month he did something pretty cool. John needed a new non-run of the mill scheme for a few new products, and he recruited our community for help. Some of our Crew submitted their favorite schemes and for their hard work, they were just awarded free John Sharpless bobble heads!! Well, not really. He actually stoked our guys out with not 1, not 2, but FOUR airframes for the best designs! CaseyG, HjorturG, ArtistRC, SleepyC (ahem, fixed), are the winners, and needless to say, they are thrilled. When John needed help, our guys came to the rescue, and John went beyond the call of duty to hook ‘em up. Pretty cool if you ask me. Aerotech is also the headline sponsor for the Giants Style Video Contest that is currently underway. Mad props from the FG Staff and Crew to this dude. Thank you for supporting the FlyingGiants community, John! Buddy, at the next one, cocktails are on me. MM Last edited by madmax; 08-05-2006 at 11:42 PM. |

Hello, Max my brother thank you for the write up. The FG have become a fast icon in this industry for information. The ESPN of this fine hobby/sport. Max and Bif have raised the bar for us. I feel the same dedication of giving back as much as possible to the folks that have made us and help us grow every year. A major announcement for March 2007 from us will happen sometime next week barring no hickups. All I will say is, IMAC and Freestyle guys get practicing... Take Care John www.aerotech-rcmodels.com |
