Default The new Sukhoi!!!

Well we FINALLY upgraded the 33% Sukhoi. We just now installed a TOC 3W 106 on this airplane. It had a GT80 on it before. Any suggestions on what prop I should run.

no way a 26x10 is way to small on a 106 maybe a 100 but i would start with a 27x10 and maybe go to a 28x10

Kevin, I've got a stock 106 on cans and I was ripping a 27-10 3W wood prop right out of the box. I've got around 4 gallons through it now and I'm running a PT 28-10 which I like. I'd go with at least a 27-10 to start. Good luck

I own a 106 also and a 26 is way too little. I broke mine in on a 27 and it was asking for the 28 since the first flight.

Congrats Kevin! Now you're really gonna see what the Sukhoi is made of!

The engine is actually used. Well just 1 1/2 gallons have only been run through it. I look in the inside and it sparkles still. So really it is a brand new used engine. We paid 850 dollars for it. The GT80 was not enough power. Plus it was on the heavy side.

One more thing I HAVE PERMISSION TO HOVER ON THE DECK AND GRIND THE RUDDER ON THE GROUND. So basically I can do w/e I want to with it.
