Englishman in Madrid

Hi there chaps,

Just joined up - as with everyone else here - fascinated by planes, all kinds, whether real or remote. Currently training for my PPL here in Madrid. Was recommened to this place through a friend of mine.

Been checking out the amazing videos and pictures. Damn you guys have some amazing planes. I contend myself with a little .40 Trainer and .46 Tiger Sport, but I enjoy it. Looking to buy myself an electric 3D plane, but no idea what to get. I went onto RC Universe, but the shipping costs form the States are huge. Love the way a 3D flies. Trying to persuade my wife to get me one for Birthday - but doubt she'll put up with more planes in the house!!

Anyway, I'll be here looking around, so any thoughts or anyone want to ask me anything, please feel free. I'm a friendly bloke who's obsessed as everyone else with things that fly!

Now you simply must share what inspired you to pop over to Spain? Been to Madrid years ago and enjoyed it. Still can't get used to vosotros though! Sounds like you're going to fit right in.
