FGTV LIVE! At IRCHA!

On the road again!! The FlyingGiants Crew is LIVE at the 2006 IRCHA Heli Jamboree! The weather has cleared, and we're all having a blast! Unfortunately, due to badwidth issues, we won't be streaming live, but please keep an eye out for photos. This is a killer event - definately ranks as the "Joe Nall" for shankbones!

wow, that's great.

Ircha is probably the biggest heli-event in the states (if not the world).
I think it's great that FG covers it.

I wish we had something like ircha over here at europe too.

Shank-o-saurus I like it but lets see him earn the name first. How bout it Elie lets see you flying one of those 10,000 turbine shanks...

He can hover a 40% carden but let's see the inverted nose in hover on a shankbone 2" from the turf.

Guys
Just got home from IRCHA, had a great time with the Flyinggiants crew no doubt about that, each time is better than the previous one, much better, the flyinggiants were well represented and we made an impact there, people are still talking. I met MAX and Toro at the airport, Biff followed later and Wizard showed up on Saturday, I also learned a lot, I learned that the SHANK BONE crowd do things opposite to the way we do things in the airplane world.
In our world, I am used to hearing NO 3D, 3D on the other side of the runway (100 ' wide runway), I am also used to hearing, push it out.
That's how it goes in the Shankbone world, lower, you can do better than that, let's see a crop circle, how about a blade stop etc...
You get the idea, that was the most positive thing I learned from this event, I also learned that they crash a lot even the best of them, love to see crashes as long as they aren't mine and repairs are relatively cheap compared to airplanes, just a note that they had over 500 registered pilots.
Yes I love Shankboners, actually I love their attitude.
By the way I still worship airplanes, here is few pics.
