MY FRIEND HAS ONE WITH A DA 150 STOCK MUFFLERS AND ITS ABOUT 48LBS IF YOU LIKE THE PLANE GO WITH THE 37.5 YAK ABOUT 38 1/2 LBS WITH SAME MOTOR AND IS AN AWESOME PERFORMER

Are you talking about the Aviation Models 40% Yak 54 or the Composite ARF 3.3M Yak 55SP? I know the title says AM but you mention 3.3M the AM Yak would be 40% which is 3M I think. Jon

AM 40% Yak is 130" span 3.3m is 128.7" 50%

| That 40%er is definitely the ticket for a 200cc engine. If you want foamy power/flight performance, go with the 37.5% and 150. You won't be sorry.

My friend has a 40% AM Yak with a 3W 200 and its about 50 pounds. He has about a pound of ni-mh's for the rudder though. Seiko servo, smoke system and Twin Spark, so, two ignitions, two batteris, two switches. In a simple single spark setup, you would be looking at 47-48 pounds. Definately a lot for DA-150 IMO. I have seen it fly here at sea level with the 200 and its just right. Vic

I HAVE THE 37.5 YAK WITH THE DA-150 WITH NICADS REG MUFFLERS AND ITS ABOUT 38 LBS THE 150 IS PLENTY OF POWER I WAS GONNA TRY THE KROMA 180 WHEN I BOUGHT IT BUT I HAVE 3 OTHER 150 DA AND THE SERVICE IS GREAT AND THE MOTORS NEVER LET ME DOWN, I DIDNT SEE ANY COMMENTS ON THE KROMA AS TO BE GOOD OR BAD SO I WENT DA ROUTE. BUT ILL GET THAT 180 IN ONE OF MY 40%ERS NEXT YEAR. THE VIDEO OF THE 40XTRA FLYING WITH ONE WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE, ILL TRY ONE ON THE NEXT ONE
