TOC stands for Tournament Of Champions, basically the best of the best model pilots battle it out for 1st place doing incredible 3d manouvers. So, a TOC plane will be a very powerfull, very aerobatic, very large model like an Extra, Giles or Edge. Im guessing a TOC motor is a very powerfull, possibly supercharged engine.

TOC is Tournament of Champions. I was the biggest aerobatic contest in the world celebrated once every two years or yearly sometimes. Last one was on 2002, and there haven't been any others since the person that hosted the TOC died, unfortunately. When they r efer to a 3W engine as TOC, its just the engine model. The TOC model is just a little more powerful than the Classic series one. Hope to have helped you clear up a bit. ![]() Vic

The third TOC that you have heard is the name of an airplane manufacturer before they changed their name. The current name of the manufacturer is Aviation Models www.TOC1.com |
