Default Pilot figure diversity

OK, can someone tell me why the vast majority of pilot figures are cheesy looking white guys? And why can't we have some racial diversity? I'm tired of causing my kids emotional trauma by cutting the heads off Woody and other toys, and painting their faces darker hues.

Not meaning to be harsh or anything, I do have cheesy looking white guy pilot figures in some of my planes, and no I do not think they are cheesy because they are white - they would be cheesy as another hue also.

C'mon, look at them, certainly we can produce some that are more "up to date", "fashionable", "diverse"

I can't decide if you are trolling or not......

However, I will say that the first company that makes a Halle Barry pilot 'bust', or a Gabrielle Union pilot 'bust' will definitely get a few of my dollars

I buy unpainted pilots & have my Significant other paint 'em up for me. If you want something specific choose the appropriate paint and add some hair, a turban or whatever. Cajun RC is a good source for some decent pilots.....

Well, you never know what might be under a helmet head. I wouldn't be so quick to judge.

Pilots add personality to our planes, just like all the color schemes and decals we use. There is just something missing to see the 25% and up plane cruising down the runway with an empty cockpit.

Thanks for some of the references.

Helmet heads are SWEET not cheesy - not talkin' about these! Too bad they cost so much.

I personally don't like any of the pasty pansy type pilot figures out there. As far as getting a black guy or any other racial creed, I don't really care. I would like a pilot that looks good. I guess I'll probably end up using Snoopy in my planes for the rest of my life. lol
