NOOOO !!! The low end needle is definately closest to the cylinder head. All of the 3W motors come with Tiltson carbs now but even if it was a walbro it would still be low end needle closest to cylinder head and high end needle below it. Also, after the motor is broken in change to a new set of plugs and after a gallon pull the plugs and check the burn. Me and two of my buddies were running them at 1 - 1 1/8 turn last year and they were way to rich. All four of our 157's are right around 3/4 turn on the high end with a good clean burn on the plugs. The reason I say check the plugs is because it is hard to tell if the motor is running rich from the way it performs. It does not miss, burble or stutter when running rich like the old 150's.

Hey Mike, Congrats on your recent wins Bro!!! We're loving the mez 28.5 X 12X3... awesome performance on the big Velox.. the fuchs 33x12, and 3w 32x14 are also awesome... on a fast bird like yours.. the 32x14 is killer.. however you might rip it.. if not careful.. don

Hey Don My low end is right around 1 3/4 turns. I'm running a 5925 on the throttle which is a very fast servo and the transition is instant. Also running a 31.5x13 engel prop which I love. I have ran the 3w 32x14 and Mejlik 28.5x12 3 blade and all ran really well but I settled on the engel because it was the best all around prop of the 3 for my Dalton. Jonas |
