Default why locktite the neddles

Damm fellows I think I am going to break the neddles . Its real hard to adjust just a blades width with the locktite. This is my third 50, it ran well as normal.

So are you saying that DA is putting Loctite on them from the factory or are you saying they are just very hard to turn?

I just got a new one about 7 months ago and the needles turn very easily..same as the one I bought last year..

On some of the earlier DA50's, some customers had problems with needles rotating due to vibration. We also occasionally saw this on other single cylinder engines over the years.
For a little over a year, a small amount of Loctite has been used on the threads to stop the movement. After a few adjustments, the needle usually rotates easy enough, but it does not rotate on it's own. We haven't had any other problems related to it since.
Thanks
