Default FailSafe

How do you guys setup your FailSafe with PCM receiver?

Reason I ask is that I normally just setup the throttle to return for dead engine/no thottle but tonight I got to thinking about setting up all surfaces to go netural. Is it worth it to program the failsafe for flight controls other than throttle?

Thanks,
Accaptain

Only fail safe you want set is engine back to 1/4 throttle, stops model pissing off into the distance and maybe never see the bits again. Have throttle above idle for if your 3D flying you don't want dead idle hits..

I also center the ailerons in failsafe. I don't do anything with the elevator.

Depends on your set up, I use 2 rx's, with this setup if you hold all surfaces in current position, and loose 1 rx, you will be fighting the plane, by returning throttle to idle, and rest to neutral, if you still have contact with 1 rx you can fly it in.

Engine to just above idle, Elevator one click up, everything else to neutral just incase the airplane gods deside to land my plane and miss everything around my airfield.

Idle engine, a little up elevator. My plane is so dang stable, I have thought about setting it up for an elevator, Full elevator, and high idle. Maybe It would harrier land itself!

Post edited to say full elevator, not rudder!

I'm running just a single receiver. I basically setup the throttle to kill but I will change that to idle and I setup the other surfaces to neutral. The one click up elevator sounds like a good thing to use. Thanks for the info guys!

JayBird, I think that's hilarious, could you imagine that sucker popping into harrier on fail safe and elevator straight down to land!!
